Culture of India

India is the most ancient civilization in the world practicing four major religions Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism. Just like its population even its cultures depicts incredible diversity. All the four corners of the country have distinctive culture, in fact; every state has a different outlook on culture.

The Indian culture is more of an amalgamation of several languages, dance, music, religions, architecture, and food. Many of its cultural aspects have a profound impact on the foreign lands. Two major religions practiced all over the world Hinduism and Buddhism has its roots in India only.

Today, there are 2 billion followers of Hinduism and Buddhism in the world, and it is also considered the third and fourth largest religions across the world. 80% 0f the Indian population practice Hinduism and rest of it practice Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Jainism, and Judaism. These diverse cultures of the country thoroughly influence art, culture, music, and dance giving them an unbeatable taste.
