Telangana is the youngest state of India as it was formed in June 2014. It was earlier a part of Andhra Pradesh. It is a southern state of India and the capital of this state is Hyderabad. Some other major cities of Telangana are Warangai, Khammam, Ramagundam, Nizamabad, and Karimnagar.

Telugu and Urdu are the official languages of this region. The economy of this state is mainly driven by agriculture. Rice is the major crop grown here. Some other crops grown in this region are mango, sugarcane, tobacco, etc. Krishna river and Godavari river flows in this state which makes the land suitable for crop production. This state is one of the top IT exporting states of India. The state is home to many industries which adds to its economies like textiles, pharmaceutical, automobiles, software industries and the list is long. Here, one can find historical places, forts, monuments, waterfalls, temples, forests, museums, etc. Folk arts of this state are Burra Katha, shadow puppet show, gusadi dance, Perini Shiva tandavam, etc. There are several religious destinations like Bhadrachalam temple, Thousand pillar temple, Yadagirigutta temple and many Hindu temples.
