A white arched of Buddhist stupa on the Ladakh hilltop is the Shanti Stupa. It is a symbol of peace and a tie between the Japan and Ladakh peoples. The Shanti stupa is located in the Chanspa, district of Leh. It shows a beautiful scenic view of the surroundings. It is one of the key reasons for the visitors visiting the Shanti Stupa. There is a sited Buddha of golden color in the first level. In the second level of construction, there are different levels of Buddha including birth, death and fighting with the devils.

It is located at a height of 4,267 meters. It is 5km away from the Leh, but it is visible from the Leh. You can clearly enjoy the beautiful view of Himalayas from the top. Many tourists visit Ladakh only to view this place. It is very beautifully constructed. The visitors can visit this place by road or by 15 minutes trek.

The roads are clear in the month of July to September. So, it is the best time to visit this place. The opening and closing time of the stupa is from 5 am to 9 pm. Forgetting the best view, you can visit it at the time of sunset and sunrise. It looks more beautiful at night. Many tourist visits this stupa, enjoy the view and click wonderful pictures.
